Rancho Carrillo Homes For Sale
If you want quality beaches, a quaint and growing downtown community about the water, affordable homes in well-planned communities, great schools, and scenic living, my first options are Carlsbad, California.

If only I'd bought there Twenty years ago when I moved from La Jolla to North County. But my hubby wanted more property, so we went inland 5 miles to Vista. Yes, Vista is good, I really like my home and also the near-perfect weather (Sixty minutes ranked Vista as having the best climate in the U.S.)! However still wish there were bought in Carlsbad.

Since Carlsbad is my neighbor, I visit the community all the time because of its beaches, it's shopping (especially at the Outlet Mall away from Palomar Airport Road), up-and coming restaurants like West Steak House or Vigilucci's, uses the beach, or shopping boutiques within the Village of Carlsbad.
And because I traveled for benefit several years, I'd only use their convenient airport - where I would add that they still don't charge for parking! The majority of my travel was in the U.S. and international, and so i would require a small plane as much as L . a ., and then catch a direct flight after that. It had been so convenient! No downtown visit to the airport, or coping with park and rides to reduce parking!
The options for living in Carlsbad have cultivated within the Twenty years I have already been in North County. Besides Olde Carlsbad or La Costa, we've newer, beautifully planned communities like Rancho Carrillo or Bressi Ranch. Carlsbad attracts many families as a result of well-planned communities with hiking and biking trails, along with Carlsbad's history of good schools.
The purchase price is correct too. In October 2008, Carlsbad (92008, 92010) reported median prices within the $500,000's with the areas in 92009 and 92011 in the $700,000s. Go south to Solana Beach, Del Mar, La Jolla, and prices will sky-rocket in the millions. And then for the ones that wish to live within walking distance for the beach, you may still buy condos under $500,000!
Beautiful beaches are part of the draw in Carlsbad. You will find great family beaches, and then for surfers, there is certainly Tamarack beach, quickly free airline end of Tamarack street. Or if you wish to camp around the water, there is certainly Carlsbad State Beach. Whatever beach environment you are interested in, many times it in Carlsbad.
Among my personal favorite summer activities will be the Friday Jazz-in-the-Park Festivals offered free in Carlsbad. Look into the Chamber of Commerce for details on the events and who's playing. Then take a picnic dinner as well as your beach chairs to among their parks and enjoy the summer weather and delightful music with friends.
So, as my children grow up and move out, I am in hindsight on the chance of moving to Carlsbad. My dream would be to get a small home in easy reach of the beach and the Village; go for a nice walk about the beach each morning before I drop by Café Elysa in my morning coffee and paper...
